Study Skills
The Thinking Consultancy deliver two study skills programmes:-
Intermediate programme
The intermediate programme is for students studying for their first degree, Masters degree, PhD or equivalent. During the 3 days students will learn and apply the skills associated with Accelerated Reading, Quantum Reading™, Synoptic Reading, Memory Skills and Cognitive Mind Mapping. Students can expect to have read and cognitively mind mapped 10 books during the 3 days.
The course is intended for younger students, mature students and those who want to develop the skills associated with Quantum Reading™. The programme is ideal for those studying through distance learning.
All clients must be over 16 years of age.
Advanced programme
The advanced 5 day programme covers everything in the intermediate programme, in addition to inputs on:-
- time management
- goal setting
- prioritising
- relaxation techniques
- managing case studies
The course is intended for students studying for their Masters, doctorate and similar. All clients much be over 21 years of age.
A pre-course questionnaire is developed and we adapt the programme to cover clients’ requirements.
Course logistics
Open Course held in North Surrey
Courses for Corporate Clients can be held in their offices, training centre or hotel
Personal Tuition is held at a venue that is mutually convenient

Open 5 Day Advanced Study Skills £1,850
- Bring a friend and save £50 each
- Students in full time, continuous education and eligible for an LEA grant, save £150.00 each
- Those enrolling at a student rate may be asked to provide confirmation of their status from their school or college.
- The minimum age for anyone attending an open course is 16.

Corporate Clients
£175.00 per person per day with a minimum invoice of £1,750.00 per day plus VAT and expenses
Private Clients
Personal Tuition £1,000.00 for up to 3 participants. Children of 13 years or older welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult
