History of Quantum Reading™
The Nineties
1995
The first Quantum Reading™ course ran in August 1995 when
30 members of the Paddington NLP Practice Group were trained. The course was the first of five to run that Autumn to test and
validate the training. In total over 100 students participated.
1996
During Spring another five courses were run to test and validate the training before the commercial courses were launched.
1997
- Quantum Reading™ attracted much interest at the CIPD’s HRD Exhibition and Conference at Olympia
- The Mind Management System was born and new logo launched
1998
Continuous improvement means that success was achieved in three days instead of four days – greatly pleasing clients!
1999
- CIPD’s HRD Exhibition and Conference at Olympia
- Launch Memory Skills programme
The Millennium Years
2000
First programme in Middle East hosted by Mecuri International in Dubai.
2001
- The Thinking Consultancy Ltd incorporated
- Start of six year engagement to run Quantum Reading™, Accelerated Reading and Critical & Creative Thinking programmes throughout Gulf States in the Middle East. Hosted by Al Rashed.
- Ran programmes in Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Kuwait and Oman
- Train the Trainers programme with Evans Pharmaceuticals/Powerjet
2002
- Preferred supplier of British Institute of Management/Chartered Management Institute
- Accelerated Reading programme for elected members of Tynwald/House of Keys, Isle of Man
- Di McLanachan runs first Quantum Reading™ as a licensed franchisee
2003
- Course in Dubai attracts 65 participants
- Start of four years engagement with Boehringer Ingelheim Limited
2004
- 100th Quantum Reading™ course
- Launch of Essential Quantum Reading™
- Learning modules for Barclays Bank
- Run Quantum Reading™ courses for NLP Dubai
2005
- Start of programme with Medway Council training both their staff and elected members
- First 1 to 1/Personal Tuition programme
- Sun Zeyu travels from China for Personal Tuition
- Preferred supplier with Guardian Business Systems
- First Power of Words programme for BUPA
- 1,000th participant undertakes Quantum Reading™ course
2006
- Designed Heart of Maybourne Customer Service Training Programme on behalf on the People Skills Business. In 2007 programme won both the HCPTA Excellence in Training & Development and Personnel Today’s Excellence in Training Award.
- Tushita Bosonet takes Quantum Reading™ to Switzerland as a Franchisee
2007
- Article by Jonathan Margolis published in the Financial Times
- The first 5-day Advanced Study Skills programme launched
- Mariano Carrera travels from Oman for personal tuition on Study Skills
