Is it the same as speed-reading?
No! If walking is like 'normal' reading then speed-reading is like running. Quantum Reading™ is like driving a powerful sports car. Both get you from A to B but they are completely different.
Is it the same as Photoreading?
No! Photoreading is the US version of what we do. We both get similar results but the two training programmes are very different. Its like comparing a Mercedes with a BMW. Two excellent cars but some prefer Mercedes to BMW.
Yes. Providing you can read and your English is good enough for you to keep pace with the class there is no reason why you should not be successful.
No. Those who are 'mismatchers' will not accept the change in beliefs required. Mismatchers are individuals who will always find fault, need to improve or come up with a better idea. They usually agree by saying, "Yes but..."
Can Children do it?
Teenagers in their mid to late teens studying for 'A' levels are welcome and we have a specially discounted rate for teenagers. We do accept younger children, who are at least 13 years old, if they are accompanied by an adult.
Is it any good for studying and preparing for exams?
A most definite yes. The Mind Management/Quantum Reading™ course is perhaps the best Study Skills programme available. We have had loads of students coming back and thanking us for the help we have given them.
Do you only run the courses in Surrey?
We run our open, or public courses, in Surrey/West London, however other training organisations have invited us to run open courses under their name. On this basis we have been hosted to run courses across the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands and most Middle Eastern Gulf states.
Can it be run as an in-company course?
Yes. As an in-company programme, we offer a number of options:
- Three consecutive days
- Three-day residential with additional inputs on memory, time management or study skills
- A split course. Two days and break of a few weeks and then another two day. With this option the day is reduced to more normal hours.
An additional benefit of an in-company programme is that the books that are read by the participant can be selected to support a company initiative. IIP for example.
Could you run a course for me and a group of my friends?
Yes. We are frequently invited to run 'specials' for a group of friends and special interest groups. We can run these to fit in with your schedule and location including over two weekends if it helps fit in with diaries. The minimum number of participants would be three. For one or two please see below.
Do you provide private tuition?
Yes. The demand for one-to-one or personal tuition is growing and we are pleased with the results being obtained. We can offer this service to individuals and they are invited to bring a friend or colleague with them for the same fee. As above the programme can be run to fit in with your schedule and location. All the main skills will be covered but we may have to drop inputs that rely on group dynamics.
It is one of the best programmes those with dyslexia can put themselves through as we have had great success with individuals who have had 'mild' dyslexia. Unfortunately we do not know how to measure if it is mild or severe.
Does it work if you wear glasses?
A number of students who need to wear glasses have found the techniques actually improves their vision.
Do you have a self-study pack?
We will be launching a self-study pack towards the end of 2008.
Essential Quantum Reading™ is just two days, 09.30 to 17.00. The Mind Management System requires 24 hours of tutored input. This is completed in three days starting 09.30 and usually closing between 18.30 and 18.45 on days 1 and 2 and 18.00 on the last day. For in-company, special interest groups and personal tuition we can spread the 24 hours over four days or two weekends.
Please visit Course Details.
Yes, if after the first day, and before the start of the course on day two, you decide, for whatever reason, that the course is not for you, you can leave the course and a full refund will be made. You can keep the course manual with our compliments.
