Advanced Speed Reading Courses
We offer this programme over a one day course with a post course self study pack which includes two books and two CDs.

Exercise to establish how fast clients are reading and how much is understood. - History of reading
How we learnt to read. Development of reading post school. - Processing skills feedback
Exercise to establish how we absorb and process information, feedback and explanation of results. - Develop reading skills
Formal input where a number of techniques for improving reading are demonstrated and practised by clients. Includes reading at 1000+ words per minute. - Confirming development
Reading exercise where clients actively use the techniques. The exercise is timed and reading comprehension measured. - Memory systems exercise
An exercise to demonstrate the different memory systems we use when we read. - Paradigm shift
Explaining the difference between traditional and accelerated reading and the changes in habits required. - Speed reading a book
Using the book ‘Accelerated Learning’ clients are shown how to interrogate the book and pull out relevant information. - Managing reports
Exploring the physical and intrnal 'political' approach to reading reports. - Changing reading comprehension habits
The links between reading and pressure and how to change your reading habits for maximum effect. - Managing your reading
Exercise – ‘brief the CEO’. - Cognitive mind mapping
A practical demonstration on how to do succeed in cognitive mind mapping. - Evaluation

The consultancy will continue to give personal tuition in Accelerated Reading and advanced reading skills to groups of one, two or three participants. The fee will be £1,000 per day plus expenses.*
For larger groups the fee will be £200 per person per day with a minimum invoice of £2,000 per day. The fee will be plus expenses.*
Children of 13 years or older welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult
Paul Hobbs will personally run the programmes and he is always prepared to travel, including overseas, to be with his hosts.
